AnimO’s new volunteer program is picking up steam! Our calendar is filling in fast with staff that can stay on site for weeks at a time.

Two new faces are Dougie the crow that can’t fly (he had surgery on a broken wing when he was young, but never regained full motion) and Ellie, a blind leopard gecko. She doesn’t have the characteristic wide-eyed look that this type of gecko is typically known for, but she gets around just fine with her sense of smell.

Last month our partner in Tottori Prefecture, Richard Pearce (CEO of Sustainable Daisen), embarked on an epic 22hr journey to pick up two pigs (now named Ray and Ronnie) and give them a huge, new forever home! Here is a short video of the journey: https://fb.watch/xmZQBGXxFk/

Thank you to everyone on the Patreon, as well as everyone else that sent or brought packages of supplies. Every single donation is appreciated!

If you know someone who wants to support AnimO, or if you want to help more, there are lots of ways!
