Here’s what happened in November!

Three photos of animals, a puppy, a kitten, and a pigeon
Top: Skoshy the puppy; Middle: Twiggy the kitten; Bottom: Kokoro the pigeon

We got a few new animals with challenging issues.

Skoshy the black lab has cerebellar hypoplasia, which means she’s a little wobbly. It’s a challenge for her to walk and eat, but she does those things on her own and she can still live a full and healthy life!  https://www.facebook.com/reel/725228297199218

Twiggy the calico kitten has some stubborn infections and is completely blind. She has to be helped with eating, toilet breaks, and sometimes navigation back to her bed, but she has a great appetite and the other animals are helping by providing warm legs and bellies for her to curl up with. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1392808429131090/?app=fbl

Kokoro the pigeon came in with some injuries from an attack and fibers wrapped very tightly around his toes. Thankfully we were able to remove the fibers so he didn’t lose any toes and have been keeping him warm, fed, and hydrated while he recovers. https://www.facebook.com/100053124716383/posts/pfbid0uz9xYiLani3ihMyFxra4cSXZVNJDeKHQR8FrFzcR1RvmyAseN8PRhQXqBLncPL3l/?app=fbl

New kitchen floor!

We also badly needed a new kitchen floor and one of our amazing volunteers stepped up in a big way to help with that!
